Supplying Your Parenting Tool Belt: Journeys Conference w/ Dana Parisi (Eau Claire)

$20Adoptive parents, guardianship parents, foster parents, pre-adoptive parents, and professionals — please join the Journeys Program and Jockey Being Family for a very special in-person conference with Parent Coach Dana Parisi.
This day will be relaxing and rewarding. Consider it your parenting work retreat.
Coffee/tea/pastries and lunch will be provided, and all attendees will have a chance to enter for giveaways throughout the conference! Certificates of attendance (4 hours) will be available for those who need them.

“Supplying Your Parenting Tool Belt”
Welcome to the hardware store of parenting! At this conference, you can find what you need to freshen up and supply your “Parenting Tool Belt.”
You know you’re a hard-working parent, and you’re good at your job! You likely have some great tools in your parenting tool belt. And let’s be honest, your job is hard! It’s rewarding, and it also can take a toll on your energy.
This day is for you. Join us and add to your parenting tool belt.
*Learn how to “read the room” by understanding the brain and behavior.
*Add tools for managing those toughest moments of challenging behavior
*Tools that will decrease those rough moments and lead to growth.
*Grab some skills to become a more resilient parent and
*help build resilience in your kids and teens as well.
*Then pick up some tools for setting and holding boundaries
About our presenter
Dana Parisi of Lives Touched Parent Coaching is a Certified Parent Coach and Educational Trainer with a special focus on trauma-informed approaches. Her passion is helping families heal and grow by working alongside parents and educators of children/students dealing with persistent challenging or explosive behaviors. She’s also a mom of four – two biological and two adopted children. She recently published her first book,
Parenting Marathon: The 10 Step Guide to Navigate Parenting Challenges.
