Supporting Families in Navigating Comprehensive Special Education Evaluation

This workshop will highlight the basic framework of comprehensive special education evaluations with a particular focus on the criteria for a specific learning disability. Participants will discover ways to be actively involved throughout the evaluation process.
Presenters: Dawn Merth-Johnson, Iris Jacobson, and Rose Kilmurray are Education Consultants on the Special Education Team at the Department of Public Instruction. All three presenters have expertise in comprehensive special education evaluations.
