SUMMARY:Lunchtime Transition Learning - Health Insurance Literacy for Young Adults
DESCRIPTION:We will focus on the basics of insurance literacy and how parents and educators can help youth understand key insurance terms and ideas like premiums\, deductibles\, provider networks\, and co-pays\, as well as what to do if you cannot pay a medical bill. The session also covers resources for finding affordable health coverage and how to connect with an insurance navigator. Our guest speaker will be from Covering Wisconsin.
