The Foundation’s bold and ambitious strategy is to ensure that all 15 crane species are stable or increasing across their ranges. Drawing from five decades of science-based conservation success\, they are scaling up their long-term programs for highly threatened crane species in Africa\, Asia\, and North America\, while continuing to monitor and support species that are less at-risk. \nWhat does the tour include? The education department\, staff and volunteers have extensive experience leading group tours and want to provide you with an educational and enjoyable tour. Little Amerricka is an old-fashioned amusement park featuring 26 rides and attractions\, including a roller coaster\, Ferris wheel\, tilt-a-whirl\, bumper boats\, bumper cars\, go karts\, 18-hole mini-golf\, the Whiskey River Railway\, and much more! Carry-in food and drink are allowed in the park and food is available for purchase as well. \nEach ticket holder will receive a wristband which allows unlimited riding on all the rides and includes miniature golf and the Whiskey River Railway as well. Some of the rides do have height requirements. See https://www.littleamerricka.com/faq for more information. \nAdvance registration is required. On the day of the event\, registered families can meet us at the picnic shelter anytime between 12:00pm and 1:00pm to check in and pick up wristbands. Ferguson’s offers a corn pit\, friendly farm animals\, corn maze\, straw bale pyramid and much more! \nPlease plan to arrive between 10:00am and 11:00am to check in with WiFCC staff and gain entrance into the orchard. After checking in between 10:00am and 11:00am\, feel free to stay a few hours or the whole day! The orchard is open until 6:00pm. The tickets will be season passes and able to be used for the remainder of their season. \nThe cost of apples\, pumpkins\, store products\, and attractions are NOT covered by basic admission. (on sale July 13 @6pm) \n\n\n\n\nThe Wisconsin Family Connections Center\, along with Jockey Being Family\, invites your family to join us in Wisconsin Dells for a night full of pizza\, silent disco\, crafts & games\, and connection! \nOur night will begin with check-in starting at 5:30pm followed by pizza at 6:00pm. The Silent Disco will start at 7:00pm and will be played for approximately 1.5 hours. There will be crafts\, games and prizes! \nA silent disco is like a dance party with a secret soundtrack! Imagine you and your friends each get a pair of special headphones. Instead of music blasting from big speakers\, the music goes straight into your ears. Everyone can be dancing to the same song—or even different songs at the same time! \nTo someone without headphones\, it looks pretty funny:\n– Kids are dancing and singing.\n– Nobody else can hear the music.\n– All you hear are giggles\, footsteps\, and people singing slightly off-key! \nIt’s a bit like being in your own music video while standing in a room full of other music videos. \nNot a dancer? No problem! We’ll have games and crafts ready for you to enjoy after dinner. \nOptional $150 hotel reimbursement: For families who attend the Pizza and Silent Disco night and choose to spend a night at the hotel\, WiFCC will reimburse $150 of your hotel charge (this option must be selected on your event registration). WiFCC block room rates ($119 + $35 Resort fee + tax) are available at The Wilderness Resort (room block details will be in confirmation email message). These reservations must be made no later than August 12\, 2026\, as our rate will be released at that time. Room reservations and all associated costs are the responsibility of each family and will NOT be made by WiFCC\, rather\, families who indicate they would like to receive the $150 reimbursement on their registration form will receive a form upon check-in at the Pizza and Silent Disco and will be mailed the $150 within 3 weeks after the event\, following their return of the form and hotel receipt. We have reserved three loft suites for our families! Included in the experience will be an all-you-can-eat buffet starting 90 minutes before game time and a ticket to the Kids Zone. Each attendee receives a ticket to the game\, access to the all-you-can-eat buffet and three non-alcoholic beverages per person. \nYou do NOT need to register for a child that is two years old and younger if they do not occupy a seat. They will not need a ticket\, so you DO NOT need to include them in your number of attendees. DESCRIPTION:Registration for this event is required on Eventbrite. \n\n\n\n\nPlease join WiFCC\, with sponsorship from Jockey Being Family\, for a half-day of summer activities at Camp Jorn on Saturday\, August 15th. Families will be able to do low ropes\, canoeing\, and a lake swing. Lunch will also be provided for each registrant during a midday break. \nChildren must be at least 10 years old to attend. Families will also have to sign a waiver through Camp Jorn and through WiFCC. Life jackets are required for canoeing\, and parents/guardians must stay with their youth throughout the event for safety. \nThis event is for adoptive\, foster\, guardianship\, relative caregiver\, and reunified families. \nDue to the popularity of family events\, please let your local WiFCC specialist know ahead of time if there is any reason you can no longer attend or need fewer tickets than you originally signed up for. We have rented the pool out just for our group\, and each person who attends will receive a voucher for the concession stands. \nThe Aquatics Center features three pools:\nTot Pool: two water slides\, spray features\, and a tot lazy river\nLeisure Pool: basketball hoops\, a water walk\, lazy river with a “rapids” action channel\, a tube water slide with plunge pool\, and a body water slide\nRecreation Pool: basketball hoops\, lap swimming\, a zip line feature\, a diving board\, and a climbing wall . \nSafety regulations for the pool are below:\nLifejackets must be Coast Guard-approved.\nSwim toys are not allowed.\nFood must be consumed at the concession deck.\nA cooler with water only will be allowed for party rentals. \nThis event is intended for adoption\, foster\, guardianship\, relative caregiver\, and reunified families. \nDue to the popularity of family events\, please let your local WiFCC specialist know ahead of time if there is any reason you can no longer attend or need fewer tickets than you originally signed up for. We are happy to offer individuals and families impacted by adoption or out-of-home care the opportunity to attend a Madison Mallards baseball game together. Each registrant for your family will receive a game ticket\, Madison Mallards baseball cap\, and a small food voucher. Limit of 6 tickets per household\, please. Children 5 and under who do not require a seat can join you without a ticket\, but please note these children will NOT receive a seat\, cap\, or food voucher. This event is for Wisconsin’s adoptive\, foster\, guardianship\, relative caregiver\, and reunified families and individuals! \nThe gates will open at 5:05pm and the first pitch will be thrown at 6:05pm. The WiFCC staff will have a place for families to check-in prior to the start of the game\, and registrants will receive an email with these details as the date draws nearer. The Children’s Museum offers non-traditional learning opportunities that help kids of all ages see\, touch\, learn\, and grow their way through important developmental milestones and have fun while learning. \nThis is a privately booked event which will allow you access to all of the museum exhibits. Our group will have access to the building from from 5:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. This event is open to foster\, adoptive\, guardianship\, kinship/relative caregiver and reunified families. Please note that all children at this event need to be accompanied by a supervising adult. There will be a room reserved with pizza and refreshments available for families. \nThis event would be a great opportunity to invite your child’s birth/first family or previous foster family. (on sale June 1 @6pm) \n\n\n\n\nWisconsin Family Connections Center invites adoptive\, foster\, guardianship\, relative/kinship\, and reunified families to kick off a season of nature exploration with a Day at Devil’s Lake State Park! This event will start with everyone meeting at the Nature Center! The Nature Center makes a great start for your visit to Devil’s Lake State Park. Friendly staff and volunteers will help you become acquainted with the park’s trails\, recreational opportunities\, unique geology\, history and all the natural curiosities of the park. \nBefore you head out on your adventure\, you will have the opportunity to meet and connect with other families. Snacks and water will be provided and all families will receive a season vehicle admission sticker for Wisconsin’s State Parks (limit of one pass per family)! \nFrom the park website: Situated along the Ice Age National Scenic Trail\, Devil’s Lake State Park offers magnificent views from 500-foot quartzite bluffs overlooking a 360-acre lake. Visitors enjoy nearly 30 miles of hiking trails\, lakeshore picnic areas\, swimming beaches\, paddling opportunities\, and year-round naturalist programs.
