(on sale August 11\, 2026 @6pm) Contact Kaiya at kstevens@cclse.org with any questions. \n\n\n\n\nFoster\, adoptive\, guardianship\, kinship\, and reunified parents/caregivers and teens\, join the Wisconsin Family Connections Center at The Potter’s Shed on Tuesday\, September 15th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm for an evening of pottery and connection! Choose from several different designs\, paint your piece\, and it will be shipped to you after being fired! \nPlease register for one ticket per person. This event is designed for caregivers and teens ages 12+\, and please note that at least one of your tickets should be for the accompanying adult. \nCancellations for events must be made at least 72 hours in advance. If 3 or more late cancellations or no-shows occur within a six-month period\, the household’s event registrations in the following six months will default to a waitlist. \nThis event is limited to Wisconsin residents impacted by adoption or out-of-home care and their immediate household.

SUMMARY:Future Ready  - A Workshop for Teens & Their Families
DESCRIPTION:Future Ready is an engaging and structured program to equip teens and young adults with disabilities\, ages 14 to 21\, and their families with the tools and a plan for the transition to adult life. \nTeens will build confidence\, self-advocacy skills\, and create a clear vision for their future. As parents\, you will gain practical guidance on adult systems\, decision-making options\, and learn how you can support their increasing independence. Through expert-led sessions\, peer learning\, and planning activities\, participants explore healthcare\, education\, employment\, adult long-term care\, community life\, financial tools and skills needed for the real world. \nThis program is best suited for teens\, between the ages of 14 and 19\, who have a disability or special health care need\, and are at a level of need to qualify for long-term support services. We encourage teens to attend with one or more parents and/or primary caregivers. \nYou will leave with a shared understanding of what transition means\, concrete next steps\, and tools to move forward with your teen in greater confidence based on teamwork. \nTo ensure a quality experience this group will be held to a limited number of families. Early registration is recommended. \nREGISTER

Foster\, pre-adoptive\, adoptive\, guardianship\, kinship\, or reunified moms are welcome to come and relax while connecting with other moms touched by adoption or out-of-home care. \nLearn how to decorate your own set of Christmas themed cookies with The Floured Whisk! You will be provided with 6 cookies\, all the supplies to decorate\, a box to take the cookie home along with the recipes and step by step instructions. Everyone will receive a thank you bag with a cookie cutter\, some piping bags and some chocolates. \n*We are prioritizing registration for this event to first time attendees for this event since Floured Whisk! was previously a event with us earlier this year.\nYou can be added to the Waitlist Ticket option and will be contacted directly should a spot become available. \nContact Val at vzegers@cclse.org with any questions. \nCancellations for events must be made at least 72 hours in advance.
