SUMMARY:Find Your Village - Caregiver Community Support: Wausau
DESCRIPTION:Registration for this event is required on Eventbrite. (on sale September 15 @6pm) \n\n\n\n\nPlease join WiFCC for a night of intentional connection and community for caregivers. This event is open to adoptive\, foster\, guardianship\, kinship\, and reunified caregivers. \nThis event was planned after considering how many caregivers report feeling isolated or lacking support from friends\, community\, and an overall feeling that they don’t have a true village. WiFCC hopes this event is the first step in identifying others who have a similar journey and understand that parenting children with trauma\, grief\, and/or loss can be incredibly difficult\, particularly while feeling little to no support. \nThe event will include dinner\, facilitated and unstructured socialization\, games\, and a dedicated tool to help connect those who attend. Soda\, lemonade\, water\, and mocktails will be included. If 3 or more late cancellations or no-shows occur within a six-month period\, the household’s event registrations in the following six months will default to a waitlist.
