Live Webinar – Native Nations of Wisconsin
Dr. Patty Loew, Mashkiiziibii (Bad River Ojibwe), author of Indian Nations of Wisconsin: Histories of Endurance and Renewal, provides an overview of the twelve nations and urban Indian communities in our state. Dr. Loew will share brief histories and highlights of some successes and challenges facing our Indigenous neighbors, with an emphasis on environmental activities. A better understanding of these sovereign communities helps us better support Native children and families.
