The ABA Center on Children and the Law is a program of the American Bar Association that promotes access to justice for children and families. Founded in 1978, the Center's team of attorneys manages a portfolio of national, state, and local projects focused on improving legal representation and the legal systems that affect children's lives — including child welfare, foster care, kinship care, education, health, and youth justice. The Center provides training, technical assistance, publications, and policy guidance to practitioners and courts across the country.
