Christy has been working in the post-adoption and out-of-home care field since 2008 and trained with Dr. Karyn Purvis and Texas Christian University to become a Trust-Based Relational Intervention® Practitioner and Educator. In her work, she especially enjoys exploring the concepts of adoption and out-of-home care within a historical context as well as learning from adults with lived experience. Christy enjoys spending time with her family, being anywhere in the sunshine, and visiting local businesses in mid-sized Midwestern cities.
