Generations United is a national nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of children, youth, and older adults through intergenerational collaboration, public policies, and programs. Founded in 1986, they are best known for their leadership on grandfamilies and kinship care — operating the National Center on Grandfamilies since 1997 and the federally funded Grandfamilies & Kinship Support Network since 2021. They also convene the world's largest intergenerational conference and provide technical assistance to communities building programs that connect generations.
