UMOJA: A Black Heritage Experience is a Wisconsin-based nonprofit that empowers transracial families — primarily those with Black children and parents of another culture — through an immersive annual weekend conference. Their programming supports children in developing a positive Black identity, builds cultural knowledge and community connections, and equips caregivers to navigate race-related topics.
