Skills & Strategies for the Child Care Teacher – Summer 2025 – Face-to-Face
July 16 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
$50Skills & Strategies will prepare participants to be successful in the role of a Lead Child Care Teacher in an early childhood setting. Participants will examine the subjects of curriculum planning and activity selection in a developmentally appropriate early childhood environment, explore strategies to involve parents, and examine the role of observation in a developmentally appropriate program. Child guidance and professionalism are also further developed.
Course hours: 50 hours
Face-to-face & Online Modules
Wednesday, July 16, July 30, August 13, August 27, September 10, and September 24
6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
The remainder of the hours will be self-paced on our online platform.
Presenter: Ann-Marie St John, MS – Community Education Coordinator at Parents Place
Ann-Marie develops and facilitates educational opportunities for parents, caregivers, and professionals. She received her BA in Elementary Education from UW-Platteville and her MS in Administrative Leadership from UW-Milwaukee. She is a Level 16 and a Tier 3 Trainer through The Registry as well as a Technical Assistance Professional.
