Escaping an abusive home, Daniella Anderson entered foster care at 16. At 19, she had a son, a job and hopes for college. Now she’s struggling to fend for herself. This is an excellent portrayal of the choices young people immersed in the system face: to receive support from the system, or strike out on their own. It’s a challenging choice.
