Lydia Deering has been working in the area of adoption and out-of-home care support since 2020. Prior to that, her background included working with adults and adolescents in the mental health field and college advising. She enjoys learning from the families and individuals who are served by the WiFCC. She lives in the Eau Claire area with her 10-year-old dachshund and enjoys spending her free time exploring nature, reading a good book, and learning to embroider. Lydia says her favorite part of her position as a WiFCC Support Specialist is getting to spend time with families, whether that is in person at an event or by chatting via phone. She looks forward to meeting you and your family and learning more about you. Lydia invites you to reach out to offer feedback or see how she can connect you with resources and support for your journey.
